The data processing can also be based on our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The respective legal bases relevant in each individual case are informed in the following paragraphs of this privacy policy.
Recipients of Personal Data
In the context of our business activities, we work with various external parties. In some cases, it is also necessary to transfer personal data to these external parties. We only pass on personal data to external parties if this is necessary in the context of contract fulfillment if we are legally obliged to do so (e.g., transfer of data to tax authorities), if we have a legitimate interest according to Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR in the transfer or if another legal basis allows the data transfer. When using processors, we only transfer personal data of our customers based on a valid contract for order processing. In the case of joint processing, a joint processing contract is concluded.
Revocation of Your Consent to Data Processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent already given at any time. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right to Object to Data Collection in Special Cases and Direct Advertising (Art. 21 GDPR)
IF THE DATA PROCESSING IS BASED ON ART. 6 (1) LIT. E OR F GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA AT ANY TIME FOR REASONS ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS. THE RESPECTIVE LEGAL BASIS ON WHICH A PROCESSING IS BASED CAN BE FOUND IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUCH ADVERTISING AT ANY TIME; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING INSOFAR AS IT IS ASSOCIATED WITH SUCH DIRECT MARKETING. IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL THEN NO LONGER BE USED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES (OBJECTION ACCORDING TO ART. 21 (2) GDPR).
Right to Lodge a Complaint with the Competent Supervisory Authority

The right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to other administrative or judicial remedies.
Right to Data Portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically based on your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a commonly used, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done to the extent technically feasible.
Access, Correction, and Deletion
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to obtain free information about your stored personal data, its origin, and recipients and the purpose of the data processing and, if necessary, a right to correction or deletion of this data. For this purpose, as well as for further questions on the subject of personal data, you can contact us at any time.
Right to Restriction of Processing
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. For this purpose, you can contact us at any time. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:
● If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we generally need time to verify this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
● If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
● If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend, or assert legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.
● If you have lodged an objection under Art. 21 (1) GDPR, a balance must be struck between your and our interests. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data may – apart from being stored – only be processed with your consent or to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a member state.
SSL or TLS Encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. When SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

The use of contact data published within the scope of the legal notice obligation for sending unsolicited advertising and information materials is hereby objected to. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam emails.

IONOS WebAnalytics
Our company website uses IONOS WebAnalytics to evaluate usage statistics and improve its technical operation. The provider is IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany.
According to IONOS, data may be collected through server log files or a tracking pixel. This can include the referring website where transmitted, the requested page or file, browser type and version, operating system, device type, time of access and IP address. The IP address is initially transmitted to IONOS and, according to IONOS, immediately anonymised and used in particular to determine the approximate location. IONOS states that WebAnalytics does not use cookies.
The processing supports statistical evaluation and technical and content improvement of our website. Where personal data is processed, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest is the appropriate design and optimisation of our website. We have a data processing agreement with IONOS. Further information is available in the IONOS privacy notice.
Enquiries by email or telephone
When you contact us by email or telephone, we process the information you provide, such as your name, contact details and the contents of your enquiry, to respond and communicate with you.
Where the enquiry relates to pre-contractual steps or the performance of a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Otherwise, processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We retain the data for as long as necessary for the enquiry and its purpose; statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.
Additional privacy information for the Data Center Map
These additional notices apply to our Data Center Map. Helmut Kohl Management GmbH is the controller. Our contact details and your privacy rights appear in the general sections of this privacy policy. The IONOS section concerns the corporate website; the following hosting information additionally applies to the map service.
Hosting by OVHcloud
We operate the map service on a virtual server provided by OVH GmbH, Oskar-Jäger-Str. 173/K6, 50825 Cologne, Germany. The selected server location is Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Processing by OVHcloud is governed by a data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR.
Necessary connection and log data are processed to deliver the service, diagnose errors and protect against abuse and attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable provision of the service.
Server logs and backups
Regular access logs for the map are disabled. Error logs are retained for a diagnostic window of generally seven days. System and authentication logs are generally retained for 14 days. Actual deletion can take longer due to rotation, interruptions or backups. Older logs, where present, are removed in accordance with the applicable deletion rules.
The VPS uses a daily Standard automatic backup. OVHcloud describes a retention period of 24 hours and storage on separate servers within the same data center. Additional snapshots created before updates are deleted manually after successful checks and within three days. According to OVHcloud, snapshots are also stored within the same data center.
Map software and fonts
Leaflet and its required code, style and image files are served from the map server without requests to unpkg.com. The service uses system fonts and does not request Google Fonts files for this purpose.
OpenStreetMap in the Data Center Map
Our Data Center Map uses map tiles provided by the OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom (OSMF). The map displays the geographic locations of the data centers included in the service.
External tiles are loaded only after you select “Activate map.” This transmits information including your IP address, browser and device information, the time and requested map area and, where provided, the referring website to the map service. OSMF uses Fastly’s globally distributed network to deliver the tiles.
Activation is based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw it at any time by selecting “Deactivate map,” with effect for the future. This does not reverse transfers that have already taken place. The list, search and filters remain available without activating the external map. Your map choice applies only to the currently open page and is not stored persistently by us.
OSMF processes data arising from use of its map service as an independent controller. We have no direct control over its further retention or deletion. Information about this processing and your rights is available in the OSMF Privacy Policy. See also the OSMF privacy FAQ for tile users.
Transfers to the United Kingdom are covered by a European Commission adequacy decision under Article 45 GDPR.
OSMF uses log data in particular for the technical operation and security of its services. Further retention and deletion of data generated by the map service is governed by the rules of OSMF and its service providers. The publicly available privacy information does not specify one current retention period for all map request data. Further details are available in the OSMF Privacy Policy linked above.
The map is delivered through an internationally distributed network. Processing may therefore also take place outside the European Union or European Economic Area. OSMF and its service providers are responsible for the data protection requirements applicable to their respective further processing. Further information is available in the OSMF notices linked above.
Language search and PDF features
The language is selected using a parameter in the page address and is not stored persistently in cookies or local storage. Search, filters, selection of locations and PDF features are available without activating the external map.
